Mushrooms on Toast
Mushrooms are the friend of every student- cheap, easy to cook and fill that savoury gap. This breakfast recipe takes 10 minutes and leaves you satisfied!
Ingredients
- 250g mushrooms
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1 small handful chopped chives
- 1/2 tsp mustard
- 1 tbsp cream/sour cream
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- 1 slice of your favourite bread
Instructions

Chop up the mushrooms into thick slices (about 1cm thick). - -

Fry the butter on a medium heat in the pan and add the mushrooms, tossing and turning so they’re crispy all over.

Stir the cream, mustard and chives into the mushrooms and serve on toast.
